SALES & APPLICATION SUPPORT SPECIALIST (Based in Malaysia)

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Understand and effectively deliver pre-and post-sales consultation / training on suite of TreeCode products to clients and internal colleagues.
  • Serve as the knowledge-base for all company products to assist in troubleshooting and product usage.
  • Map all accounts in assigned territory and establish good relationship with key decision makers and economic buyers.
  • Connect closely with clients to understand their experiment needs and challenges and effectively link product features and benefits to the client’s needs to help promote sales.
  • Keep clients posted with all latest product update.
  • Assist sales and marketing team in executing territory sales plans to meet sales goals and long term growth.
  • Provides support for all marketing activities including company-sponsored trade shows.
  • Prepare and provide ad-hoc reporting on all job activity.
  • Consistently meets assigned deadlines to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Establish and maintain positive work relationships with customers, partners, principals and colleagues.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Master Degree in molecular biology or related field is required, PhD welcomed.
  • At least 3 years of proven track record in supporting instrumentation and consumables sales for genomics and/or life science
  • A resourceful team player who is independent, results-orientated, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An outgoing, highly motivated person with excellent presentation and organization skills.
  • Keen in learning about new technologies, with “can do” attitude.

  • In each territory assemble and manage a sales and marketing team/channel partner that can effectively promote suite of TreeCode products to new and prospective clients
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans to meet sales goals and long term growth.
  • Connect closely with client to understand their experiment needs and challenges and effectively link product features and benefits to the client’s needs to help promote sales.
  • Coordinate among customers, partners, principals and colleagues in ensuring that customer’s expectation can be managed and delivered.
  • Constantly review industry trends and be the client’s advocate in collecting product feedback to anticipate future market needs.
  • Effectively market company portfolio to all targeted client.
  • Provides sound organization and support for company-sponsored trade shows.
  • Prepare and provide ad-hoc reporting on all job activity.
  • Consistently meets assigned deadlines to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Establish and maintain positive work relationships with customers, partners, principals and colleagues.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor Degree in molecular biology or related field is required, post graduate degree welcomed.
  • At least 5 years of proven track record in instrumentation and consumables sales for genomics and/or life science.
  • Priority given to candidate that has experience managing national level / regional sales.
  • Willing to travel up to 50% frequency.
  • A resourceful team player who is independent, results-orientated, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
