TECHNICAL PRODUCT SPECIALIST

(SINGAPORE / MALAYSIA)

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Develop and execute territory sales plans to meet sales goals and long term growth.
  • Understand and effectively deliver presentations on the suite of TreeCode products, features and value-added benefits to new and prospective clients as well as internal clients to promote sales.
  • Map all accounts in assigned territory and establish good relationship with key decision makers and economic buyers.
  • Connect closely with client to understand their experiment needs and challenges and effectively link product features and benefits to the client’s needs to help promote sales.
  • Coordinate among customers, partners, principals and colleagues in ensuring that customer’s expectation can be managed and delivered.
  • Constantly review industry trends and be the client’s advocate in collecting product feedback to anticipate future market needs.
  • Provides sound organization and support for company-sponsored trade shows.
  • Prepare and provide ad-hoc reporting on sales activity.
  • Consistently meets assigned deadlines to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Establish and maintain positive work relationships with customers, partners, principals and colleagues.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor Degree in molecular biology or related field is required, post graduate degree welcomed.
  • Proven track record in instrumentation and consumables sales for genomics and/or life science will be an advantage.
  • A resourceful team player who is independent, results-orientated, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An outgoing, highly motivated person with excellent presentation and organization skills.
  • Keen in learning about new technologies, with “can do” attitude.

FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER

(SINGAPORE / MALAYSIA / THAILAND)

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Field-based position that provides on-site customer support for research and analytical instrument.
  • Perform site-preparation and installation at customer sites, ensure it meets performance specifications, and train operators on its use.
  • Responsible for the ongoing repair, maintenance and upgrade of the instrument at multiple customer locations.
  • Maintain good service record in CRM system and generate ad-hoc service report on all job.
  • Consistently meets assigned deadlines and connect closely with client to ensure best customer experience.
  • Coordinate among customers, partners, principals and colleagues in ensuring that customer’s expectation can be managed and delivered.
  • Establish and maintain positive work relationships with customers, partners, principals and colleagues.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or BA or BS in Engineering or Science or equivalent experience.
  • Fresh graduate welcomed. Experience in supporting biomedical / life science equipment in DNA sequencing, real time PCR or mass spectrometry technology will be at advantage.
  • Exposure with optics, laser and computer software and hardware, including Windows and Linux OS, real-time processing systems, disk arrays and Ethernet architecture will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent analytical troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
  • A resourceful team player who is independent, results-orientated, with strong communication and interpersonal skills (English).
  • An outgoing, highly motivated person with excellent people management and task organization skills.
  • Keen in learning about new technologies, with “can do” attitude.
  • Require flexibility in job responsibilities, travel and assignments.
